Brooke Benson, MSW Candidate

Clinical Therapist

Brooke is a master’s-level intern pursuing her Master of Science in Social Work with a clinical focus and a Graduate Certificate in Trauma Treatment at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She takes a highly collaborative approach to therapy, viewing the healing journey as a partnership with each client. Brooke considers it a privilege to engage in therapeutic work and holds deep respect for every individual’s inherent dignity and worth. She strives to provide a relational, person-centered experience that honors each client’s unique path.

Brooke draws on attachment theory and cognitive behavioral approaches to guide her work, while also incorporating narrative therapy to create space for clients to share and reframe their stories in meaningful, empowering ways.

Outside of her professional work, Brooke enjoys hiking, practicing hot yoga, and spending time with friends and family—often hosting gatherings where she loves to cook and share meals.
