Corin Stephenson, TLMFT
Clinical Therapist
Corin is a therapist with many years of experience. She is dedicated to helping her clients find the root of their challenges and re-connect to their authentic self. She helps adults, children, and families transform from stuck and overwhelmed, to feeling back in control of their lives. Corin believes that a person’s inner light and resilience can sometimes be found in the experiences of darkness, in the very deepest wounds, and even in suffering. As Leonard Cohen so famously sang: “Ring the bells that still can ring. Forget your perfect offering. There is a crack, a crack in everything. That’s how the light gets in”
Corin utilizes many different therapy modalities including Internal Family Systems, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Somatic Experiencing, and more. Corin prioritizes nervous system regulation in her work and uses the Polyvagal Theory to inform her sessions. Safety in the body and the mind serve as a starting point for healing.
Corin has been married to her husband for 16 years and has two children. Besides her passion for children, families, parenting, and mental health, she enjoys photography, traveling, and hiking. Corin has a personal yoga practice and special interest in nutrition and holistic health.
